Plasma Pen is the most advanced, non-invasive, skin lifting, skin tightening and rejuvenation device. The Plasma Pen is the only device you can use on the upper and lower eye lid for tightening and eyelid hood reduction outside of plastic surgery. The results can last up to 3 years depending on your lifestyle and extrinsic aging factors.
The Plasma can treat the following areas:
Upper and lower eyelids
Hyperpigmentation/ Age Spots
Clients should be in good health at the time of the appointment, with no pre-existing health conditions. If the client displays signs of cold or flu the treatment should be rescheduled.
Clients skin should not be inflamed in the area we are treating prior to procedure.
Clients prone to keloid scars are not ideal candidates.
Clients with diabetes, healing disorders or lymphatic draining issues should not undergo treatment.
Clients with a sunburn/sun tan should postpone treatment.
Clients who have a history of Hyper pigmentation are not ideal candidates.
Clients must not display any tanning at the time of the treatment.
Clients must not display Herpes Simplex Virus (Cold sores/Fever blisters). You will need to reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing an outbreak. If you have experienced Herpes Simplex Virus (Cold sores/Fever blisters) in the past you must see your Medical Doctor and obtain a prescription for Valtrex and begin taking it 3 days before treatment and for 4 days following treatment. (This applies for treatments surrounding the lip area only)

Clients with Eyelash extensions receiving upper or lower eyelid treatment must have lashes removed prior to treatment and reapplied after 8 weeks.
This treatment is only recommended on light-medium skin tones (Fitzpatrick skin types 1-4)..it is not advised for those with very dark skin. This is because there is a higher risk of hyperpigmentation (dark spots) or hypopigmentation (light spots) following treatment.

Client Prep Instructions for Plasma Pen
All the skin care products are included in the treatment price.
*Avoid sun-tanning, spray-tanning and sunbeds for 2-4 weeks before your treatment
*Use SPF 50 for 2-4 weeks before your treatment, especially if you are naturally darker skinned.
*Take Vitamin C supplement for 2-4 weeks before treatment helps boost skin healing efficiency 1,500-2000 mg is recommended.
* Daily use of a Vitamin C serum for 2-4 weeks before treatment.
* Stay Hydrated! Drink plenty of water, at least 2 to 3 liters.
* Do not use any Acid, Glycolic, Resurfacing, Retinol or Retin-A products for at least 2 weeks before treatment.
*Avoid any other cosmetic procedures on the same area you intend to have treated with Plasma Pen: i.e. Laser, chemical peels, fillers, permanent makeup, botox etc.
*Skin Type 4 will need to use a Tyrosinase Inhibitor for 4 weeks prior to treatment.
* On the day of treatment, come in with a clean face, no mascara or contacts if your treatment is around the eye area.
All of the above mentioned skin care products will need to be purchased through the service provider to make sure the correct products are being used to get the best results possible.
Not adhering to the before and after care instructions can cause discoloration and complications.N
*After 24 hours, cleanse treated skin once daily using sterile saline prep pads. Dab treated areas only. Avoid rubbing or wiping to avoid causing the crusts to fall of prematurely.
*Apply growth factor serum to treated areas 2 times per day until it's gone.
* Take 1,500 to 2,000 mg per day for 90 days.
* Avoid using cold compresses. Inflammation and swelling following treatment is normal and helps stimulate collagen production. Sleep with your head elevated for the first 2-3 nights to reduce excessive swelling.
*Do not wear makeup, lotions or sunscreen until the crusts fall off.
*Avoid sun exposure and heat (exercise, hot tubs, saunas ect.) for 7 days. Blisters and discoloration can happen if you don't avoid heat!
*Avoid alcohol, caffeine, antihistamines and over the counter anti-inflammatory medications for 2 weeks. Tylenol is ok.
*Avoid exfoliants, facials, chemical peels and other cosmetic treatments for 12 weeks. This includes waxing of the area treated for 12 weeks. Check your products using to make sure there aren't any exfoliating properties in them.
*After the crusts fall off use SPF 50+ daily.
